V ŽVPL-ovi maniri (glej Veliki test stranišč in kondomov) objavljamo prvega v seriji člankov Veliki test piv, tokrat nizkocenovnih - iz Mercatorja, Hoferja in Lidla. Pet članov Akademije ŽVPivoL se je ob torkovi tekmi Severna Irska - Slovenija odločila testirati nekaj nizkocenovnih piv - iz Mercatorja, Hoferja in Lidla!
Ocenjevanje s slepim testom
Seveda se testnim subjektom niti približno ni sanjalo, katero pivo pijemo. Da bi bil eksperiment še bolj zanimiv, smo med testne specimene zamešali še nekaj piv, ki jih pijemo vsak dan (Union, Laško in Laško Club). Naša strokovna prinašalska komisija nam je za hec natočila še enega Uniončka, če smo oba ocenili približno isto pa boste zvedeli v spodnjem videu.
Stestirali smo Sixtusbräu, Bergkönig Märzen, Bergkönig (Hofer), Pivo Mercator (Mercator), Grafenwalder in Fink Bräu (Lidl), kdo pa je zmagal pa si poglejte v spodnjem videu (tisti z manj časa si lahko ogledate krajšo verzijo, a ni tako zabavna kot director's cut).
Podrobneje si rezultate glasovanja lahko ogledate v tabeli in grafu, mi pa le še razglasimo zmagovalce:
Zmagovalci velikega testa (nizkocenovnih) piv:
- Sixtusbräu, Hofer, 4.2 %,
- Bergkönig Märzen, Hofer, 5.2 %,
- Bergkönig, Hofer, 5.2 % in Pivo Mercator, Mercator 4.0 %.

P.S.: V videu se nam je prikradla napaka: 3. mesto si dejansko delita Bergkönig in Mercatorjevo Pivo (popularno poimenovano Times New Roman).
